To request a single Canvas Sponsored Identity account, please:

1.        Navigate to the Sponsored Identity page using the button below.

2.        Select “Canvas User” from the list of Sponsored Identity types.                 

a.        If you are looking for a secondary test account for yourself, please use the “Testing / Training IDs” Sponsored Identity type.

b.        If the Sponsored Identity recipient needs more than just Canvas access, then please reference this Sponsored Identity resource page.               

3.        Fill out the form in full. When asked "Do you want a NetID Activation PIN to be issued", select "Yes". A NetID Activation PIN is REQUIRED for new users to gain access to their account.

4.        Click "Submit for Approval".

NOTE: You will need to be on VPN or on campus internet to access the Sponsored Identity form.
