Space Request Form


Thank you for your interest in renting Woolsey Hall.

All Woolsey Hall users must complete this form when requesting the space. This form replaces the Woolsey Hall Reservation form. There is no longer an availability check form.

Space Request Procedure

  • The feasibility of all requests will be reviewed by the Woolsey Hall production team prior to booking an event.
  • The Space Request Form review process typically takes 7-10 business days during the academic term.
  • After your request is reviewed, you will be contacted by Woolsey Requests (woolsey.requests@yale.eduto schedule an event planning meeting.
  • Contact woolsey.requests@yale.edu if you have questions or need to make changes to your request.

External vendors and equipment (e.g., speakers, karaoke machines) are not permitted. External vendors and equipment are only allowed if arranged by Woolsey production. Costs for external vendors and equipment will be included on the costs estimate sheet that will be provided once your space request has been approved.



Available rehearsal dates will be determined by Woolsey Production.

Please provide as much information as possible about the intended organist, including name, email address, performance experience, or any other relevant information to assist with planning and coordination.
Special arrangements need to be made with Institute of Sacred Music Organ Department.
Safety and security at all events are a top priority at Yale. Our staff and the Yale Public Safety offices will work together with you to determine the type of coverage, and the number of people needed to adequately cover your event. You will be notified within 1 week of your event of any charges that will come from the Yale Public Safety offices. A COA (chart of accounts) will be required for Yale departmental events.
